Now it is time for a little non "snes" because from now on all of the topics will not include a Super Nintendo entertainment system. consider the phrase nonsnes coined... like a Mario game. (I just refereed back to a snes if you missed that... I am a massive hypocrite) So from now on further more in this post I will not mention any such things.

Continuing let me say that I have dearly missed this as I always do, if I would only make time once a month for you guys I would remain more content.  I guess hobbies just hit the back burner when life gets busy, yet it is the hobbies that really keep us sane and able to keep on keeping on.  Not that I have a surplus on non nonsensical speech to lay down on you guys because my mind has had a lot of sense to sort through of late and the non variety just did not get much time to abide with me so in turn it cannot be presented to you as a tangible read pleasure.

PS. Nonsnes... use it, love it, live it... except do not actually
use it as a life guideline because the SNES is literally one of
the greatest things this world has ever known within it's limits.
I just want you to use the word

PPS. I have also started to use the world tropical to replace the word
typical... just a heads up for any future reference or usage of the word
tropical when it does not make sense try saying typical and made
clarity will be added.

Free Time

Yep I got some of that right now

You might not think that I am telling the truth when I say that I don't actually get a lot of this, but I honestly do not have a whole lot and what I do have gets used up pretty quickly.  This is all to say that you should buckle up for a life update.

So about three weeks ago I officially left another job and house for a new job, new house, and new title.  So I have moved "bach" to the stein and though I am still renting it is in an even older house that has a lot of original old house left and it is lovingly called The Museum" or just Zeum for short. So at the Zeum we will have four dudes splitting costs and that is pretty stellar making for cheapish living and while staying there I will be working a concrete job all the while being known as Pastor Alexander.  That last bit is the reason for the move and transition, and between having long hours at work and preparing sermons I have little to no free time.

In other news I have commenced looking at houses, not for immediate purchase but it is floating around in my head and secondly next weekend is a test coffee event for the potential of floating a coffee shop sorta idea... any who, that just about sums up anything interesting in my life minus getting the opportunity to play soccer again.

PS. Thanks for the care, you guys are legit

Baby go relax

Yes yes, I do this far too often.  I stop posting just long enough for people to forget about this thing, and then, just when you thought I grew up I come back. As Malcom would tell you I am back outta retirement.

As per usual I have an excuse for my lack of posting... and like every other time it is a little thing called life. Unfortunately it gets busy and a little crazy, so here I am again to tell you all about it, and after this refreshing reminder of how good it feels to blog I am sure that I will start doing more often once again and then fall of the big horse.  Freakin Saddles

So I have been working... and the whole world can't believe it... but that is not the point.  A while back I had the push to start looking to ministry as a form of work.  Yes... that means "church" work, and long story a little shorter, after a lot of conversation, prayer, and listening I am on the verge of starting my trial period at a Church.  Not that I will be getting paid per say.  So a substantial change looms in the future and I am tired of it looming, I just want to get into it, but for now I wait so that anticipation can play it's full role.

And now back to the regular gibberish that my finger tips crave and thirst for.  The reason I know that it will be gibberish is because now that I have glazed over my, so called, busy life there isn't anything significant to tell you about.  Scratch that... I just remembered (don't worry... I do realize the internet is not a typewriter and I do have the capability to edit but it is more fun having you guys involved) I am back on the push up wagon... on the race for 1 000 000, I fell off the proverbial rail cart a while ago with Christmas and a mentally draining job.  (that's another thing, this past year (thus far) has included my first taste of working in the design industry (double parenthesis unlocked (it's been too long old friend)) (and tosses in the triple for good measure).

PS.  Not to kill a horse with a dead squirrel but...
PARECEPION

PPS. It's easier than you might think... the bit about
parenthesis within parenthesis, not the ability to kill
animals with other dead animals, that's just freakin
IMPRESSIVE

Old Trick Same Results

Lets begin with a news update on what is going on in my life, then maybe I will be inspired on how to continue to type words.  Who knew that it would take till March before I would be able to write something down for you guys.  If you haven't heard I am officially out of construction work, maybe not forever but it's a start.  I am currently living in a house with a couple of other guys, which can be very good, but also stretching.... That reminds me, did I ever tell you guys about the legend that use to be Herman, and upon checking back on old posts I have realized that I have not.... so I suppose it's story time.

The day is one of change, and so change was truly about to happen but before we get to the punchline lets build a bit of a background for this story to really shine.  I will start by introducing to you the main character (who happens to be a car.... a really old car... but not antic)  His name is Herman, and he was a huge part of my life as I finished high school and entered into college.  Though he had some respiratory issues which made him sound a little rough around the edges he was reliable and a faithful gem of Japanese engineering.  Many happy memories happened because of that beautiful machine.  So as you have figured out Herman is no longer with us which takes you to today, but the story I will tell you is not about the future or present but rather the past.

We find ourselves on the moving day, the day on which life changed from Steinbach to Winkler.  From Student to... whatever comes after that... On the day that the move is made is also the day that has brought a whole lot of rain to a climax and consequently filled the streets of the said new town.  Yet puddle after puddle  Herman blows through them without straining and everything is turning out swimmingly.  He graciously brings me to my new residences and happily drops me off.  Fast forward an hour and everything is moved into the house, so now it is time to grab a coffee with the family as they had helped me move.

We travel to the coffee shop and before us is one last puddle which didn't make me nervous at all since every other puddle had been a breeze for mister reliable.  As you have probably guessed this puddle was a tad deeper than the rest, but did the people on the sidelines wave me down... not even maybe but rather cheered as a huge wave tumbled over Herman's hood, and thus ushered in his last breath that happened to be filled with water.  Next thing that happened was sort of surreal as water rushed in and we were forced to climb out of the windows and push his lifeless corpses to the sidelines.

Go

.... So that took a little longer than I expected but here it is revised and ready for whatever it is that I occupy this corner (and not even that much) of the internet.

I know that I promised this a while ago, and to be honest I was just about to edit this when my more recent blog took precedence. (If you read it, then you will catch the hilarity.... and yeah, I am defending my most recent excuse with an excuse..... making sense yet).  Alright enough chitter chatter, oh wait that is all there is... most of the time. That and periods, why?

Let me explain to you why I use so many periods, short version, I like to pause.  It is the only time conscious way I can communicate to you the way that I want you to read this.  I have always imagined this blog to be a typed version of my vocalized brain, without having to muddle through it with words that are out loud.  To be frank you guys don't mind that the actual pauses that take place where the previously mentioned periods are far more vast then what you might take when reading.

So take what you can get... not that you have a choice, this blog is obviously for my benefit and not yours. So even if you wanted to give suggestions on how I should conduct it, I would probably not listen... that is right, completely selfish.  (and now for a shameless advertisement for my other blog) If you want to read a blog that is not selfish check out my other project....

PS. you can spend your time on the internet however you
wish... as I once misheard "give or go nuts"

PPS. Squirrels in need will thank you

Preface for the Preface

No, you are not reading a book, I know right... Heaven forbid... actually I wish I read more books, but maybe not textbooks.  This is anything but a textbook... or have I tricked you yet further.

This is one of my infamously famous great ideas that never come to anything, so I am going to learn from history and not make any claims or promises.  However I will tell you what this is about, hence the title.  I want to have several themed posts (I don't know how many or how long) and I know it might seem like this is not my style... and I think you are right, and s(just a heads up I literally just edited the title from Preface to Preface for the Preface)o I might/will start a new blog.  I will try to update both of them, but for the time being that second one might get a little more attention.

Why? Well let me tell you.  I have had a desire to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart and that is "The Art of Being Pleasant" (please excuse the lame cliche "The Art..." phrase for now, until you are telling your friends about me, then you can criticize to them about my lack of originality).  I have been struggling with the concept for a while, and I think it is an area that needs explaining to this isociety.  I am the furthest thing from an expert on the matter so everyone can feel free to input, I more or less want to get your brains turning.

PS. at the same time I find that having a blog that is not all about
ranting and complaining about life is a small detail and part of being
pleasant. So that is to say, I hope to continue typing pointless chatter
for sometime yet, don't worry you haven't lost me... Yet.

PPS. here it is I just finished the first post

Coffee Tour

The only relevance that this title has is it is the most recent thing that I have taken part in.

On to other news, I don't know if you know, but I now live in Winkler... and I know that doesn't mean a lot to any of you but it means that I now work a new job which is more or less the same as my old job, and Herman is no more... I therefore replaced his elderly grandness with Flo... she's pretty nice... sure she doesn't have the wisdom of my previous ride, but hey she has a little more energy which isn't all bad.

Okay so that's the life update and now time for some classic gibberish, and that just might look and sound more like this... (what you hear is nothing because you are probably not reading this out loud... and that should account for the fact that there is not all that much gibberish to be spoken tonight)

I know some of you might be disappointing by the sounds of that, because there is finally a new post and there really isn't anything there... and not only that there isn't the usual ramblings.  Yet more I keep typing less this paragraph is adding up, besides physically because it is currently adding up to more and more as we go.

Ha I am tired, and you should see the look on your face... and to really "mess with your stones" I am not leaving a ps (Post Script)

PPS. I will however leave a Post Post Script... I know right leaving
a post script to a non existent Post Script is unheard of... mainly
because it is utterly ridiculous because it is merely an incorrectly
titled Post Script

PPS.  So now it makes sense to have a double post script so I hope
you catch my meaning... now I just asked myself will I post this?
If your wondering I'll answer that question next week
Did I actually wait a week to Post this?
Nope
I answered that one just now if you missed it... well actually both questions

Complete?

Not really... this is the first time in a long time Summer didn't have a definite end... instead it just lingers on and slowly merges into fall.  Nothing is really finding any satisfaction as I continue "normal" life.

Onto something totally unrelated to that thought... for a guy that says, knows, and can testify that by getting his thoughts out into a tangible form helps him... he sure doesn't make time for it in the business of life.

Well here I am... which if you didn't know is know not where I was before... now I am in Winkler MB living with 3 other guys.  Does that mean life is different... no... rather it is strangely the same, and that is the part that is catching me off guard.  The fact that life isn't shifting this fall is so unfamiliar to me th... (I really don't know how to finish the thought without confusing myself).

In essence the lack of change this fall is one of the biggest changes I have gone through in my short life.. which is slowly becoming a longer life... imagine that

PS.  maybe it is slacking of the local readers, due
to the fact that I haven't posted anything of late,
regardless, my hat is off to those readers who
don't know me... thanks for the support
(but to be honest I don't wear hats)

PPS.  Life update one week ago I became involved in a
race with another guy to 1 000 000 push ups...
I know... crazy soup... if you want to know how long
that will take I'm sure you can do the math...
or get a calculator to do that for you

It's about that Time

Time for what you ask, and that's the point, nobody has time for anything, OKA, ain't nobody got time for that... see what I mean, everybody is busy doing whatever the heck they want, too busy to do anything else. (don't feel outta the loop, OKA Otherwise Known As, I am hoping this abbreviation catches on a little better then SQS... though I personal still use that).

Basically it was time that I take a little of my time and spend it typing out another post, but this is not wasted time, this is time thoroughly enjoyed, and essential to my sanity.

So what is on the agenda for today (this is how I think now that I am working again) well let me see... not a whole lot of sense and a 80 percent chance of 10 lines of nonsense.  This is a reference to a little thing that has caught my attention and is a little annoying. This is when a whether prediction claims a percentage chance of 0 millimeters of rain. Does that mean that the left over is the chance of all the millimeters of rain.

Whatever the case, I am glad to type this out for you guys, why? I can't rightly say, or type for that matter.  In other news, sports.............. (I hope you took your time over those excessive periods)  if not, well this post might have been a bit of a short read, and not all that worth it.... well at least not for you (don't worry I spent a little time contemplating posting this... and still am, but I think it just makes the grade for post worthy... ya)

PS. Put it up Jeevs
that's code for post it

PPS.  My computer's name is not Jeevs, he's just my
imaginary buttler and personal assistant that does not
actually do anything for me, but that doesn't stop my
string of commands for him that I have... daily
